How does an individual diagnosed with high-functioning autism know that he can succeed in life? Because he learned to cook, clean, and balance his checkbook. The realization that seemingly complex tasks are usually a series of simple steps led Scott Wyatt to tackle higher education and even home renovation. Mastering life skills can lead to confidence,
independence and professional success.

Scott Wyatt is completing his doctorate at the University of Minnesota, specializing in autism and literacy education. Scott has a Master's Degree in English Composition. He has taught
