A regional conference for paraprofessionals, child care, respite care, foster care, parents, school-age care providers, instructional assistants, PCA’s, teachers, and college students. This conference is dedicated to providing educational information and resources for all those who care for children and teens with special needs.

Keynote speaker: Debra Dewitz
“I Don’t Fold Underwear Anymore” – Debra is a social worker and family therapist who spent over 15 years in direct service to families in Minnesota and North Dakota. She then became a university faculty member and has taught social work at the University of North Dakota, Minnesota State University-Moorhead, and now at Minot State University. She owns Family Resource Consultants, through which she provides presentations, workshops, and speeches in a multi-state region.
She is known for her humorous and down-to-earth style.
Breakout sessions include topics such as: Bi-Polar Disorder, Brain Gym, Autism Related Topics, Behavior Related Topics, Suicide Prevention, Sleep Issues, Preventing Caregiver Burnout, ADHD, De-escalation Techniques for Pre K students,
Cerebral Palsy, FASD, Infant Toddler Mental Health and more!
